How do I prevent my garment from pilling?

To help prevent pilling, it’s important to minimise friction and surface abrasion, as these are the main causes of fibres tangling and forming small balls. When soaking your garment in lukewarm water, avoid scrubbing - the water and detergent do the work. Rubbing the fabric against itself is the quickest way to “fuzz” the fibres and create pills. Following the ‘store folded’ care instruction is also essential. Hanging garments can place tension on the fibres, causing them to stretch, weaken, and eventually break, which leads to increased surface fuzz and pilling over time.

Is your blend itchy on the skin?

This fabric blend is designed to feel supremely soft against the skin. We use a fine merino and cashmere blend to minimise itchiness, so it feels smooth, lightweight, and comfortable for all-day wear.

Can I machine wash my ATG knitwear?

No, we recommend hand washing only to maintain shape, softness, and longevity.

How do I wash ATG knitwear?

  • Turn inside out and soak in lukewarm water with mild detergent
  • Gently rinse (do not rub or wring)
  • Lay flat to dry and reshape while damp
  • Do not tumble dry, iron, or dry clean

How should I store my knitwear?

Store folded (not hung) and keep away from heat and moisture.
